Full Moon

Ritual

This is only one way of doing a full moon ritual ,its not the only way .Start to think about your ritual in good time,

so you can get everything ready and you wont be stressed before

you spend your precious time in sacred space. Gather together what you will need. Set up your altar.

If you can be outside under the full moon then I'm sure your ritual will be very magical.

Inside ,where many of us have to be, either stand or kneel by a window looking at the moon .

Or you can use a bowl of water .If you can get the moon to reflect in it that's wonderful.

If you cannot manage this then let a light or the flame of a candle be reflected on the waters surface .

On the night of the ritual, cast your circle, call the elements ,invoke the God and Goddess

and give a blessing . Then say these words or similar ,while gazing at the moon or into the moonlit water .

"Lady Moon

Beam Down

Your Magic Light

To your children

On this night

Fill us with

Your lunar power

Send blessings to

Our witching hour"

"Your moonbeams power

Our spells anew

And our health

And strength renew

Standing in your silver shaft

Lend your magic

To our craft"

"Waxing waning

Dark and Full

Emotions and

The tides you pull

Send your blessings from above

Fill us with your gentle love"

"To your cycle we are tuned

O Triple Goddess of the Moon

Bless us with your power we pray

and guide us on the Witches way"

If you want to do any spell casting ,divination or other magic rites now is the time to do them .

When you have done everything you want to do

earth the energy you have raised ,thank the gods and spirits for attending your rites and close your circle
